Way back in the neolithic when I was in High School… You know… back when another President was doing things that woulda/shoulda got him thrown out of office, Simon and Garfunkel had a song out called The Sound of Silence. My team of English Lit Teachers… yeah, there were two of them… decided we should analyze the lyrics as if they were a poem. Which, I guess, they really were. Needless to say, they tried to cure me of my love of the song… It didn’t work.

So today, Amazon music is playing in the background. The Eric Clapton Station when the Sound of Silence comes on… by the Disturbed. Pretty good interpretation… give it a go…
