During the summer of 1971 I was living with my grandparents. First in Orchard, Tx then i’m McMullen County on “The Ranch”. I just had a flashback memory of driving down caliche roads, white dust flying behind the pickup truck with the Eagles on the radio out of San Antonio… This was the song I remember most from those trips..

Am old green International Harvester pickup truck, grandpa Sewell driving, windows down… radio playing… heading into town… the Eagles… my cowboy hat keeping my long hair out of my eyes… a south Texas dry heat sucking the sweat of your brow.
